We will be raising money for the North Fraser Airshow which will be taking place at the Pitt Meadows Airport. In return for raising money the air show is providing us with a free recruitment booth during the event. Part of being a cadet is supporting your local community. Establishing relationship within our local aviation community is essential to our cadet program. All cadet are expected to sign up for two shifts.
Morning: 9am to 1pm
Afternoon: 12:30pm to 4pm
Cadets must arrive at the squadron at their allotted time. Parents: Don’t just drop your cadet off! Parent drivers are needed! Please come into the squadron with your cadet while ride arrangements are being made.
If a cadet is tagging the whole day they are responsible to bring a bagged lunch and will be allowed to sit down for a short break between shifts. Please refrain from bring money to purchase food (drinks are ok). Many cadets tend to lose track of time when leaving to buy food. Parents may choose to bring their cadet lunch.
Please dress in full uniform or in a white shirt and black dress pants if you do not have one. Please wear appropriate outerwear for the weather. At the end of the shift the cadets will return their money cans to the squadron (by pre-arranged ride) and will be dismissed from there.
