583 Canoeing at Whonnock Lake on Saturday, September 16th between 10:00 and 3:00. When you arrive at the lake please have your group meet behind Whonnock Lake Center on the patio area.
There is no cost for this event, but please bring a CKBC Insurance Form for filled out for everyone that will be paddling (). In the bottom right hand corner it will ask you for amount paid, you can just leave that part blank as the cost of insurance is already included in price.
Our programs do run rain or shine so it is also a good idea to have students bring a towel, a change of clothes, a water bottle and sunscreen. Also, students should bring a snack and a lunch with them (unless you are organizing a group lunch). We recommend students wear jogging pants or shorts as it will be a little less uncomfortable if they get wet. We do have a boathouse where students can keep their things dry during the program however we ask that students do not bring valuables. There are also bathrooms that the students can access if needed.
