Familiarization Flying

This event is tentative based on the ongoing PSAC strike and weather. We will be told by Wednesday if this goes ahead, but we need to get cadets signed up, so we have cadets selected in case this goes ahead.

Cadets must arrange their own travel to and from their airport and will meet at the Langley terminal. Lt Piddocke is the OPI. Cadets will only be on site for 90 mins or so, 30 minutes before their flight time for Safety briefing and Pilot documentation and their hour flight. Cadets are expected to wear appropriate civilian clothing, and to dress for the weather.  Cadets should be comfortably able to walk back to the launch point from the furthest reaches of the airport!

There is space for 3 x cadets per shift starting for the following shifts:

0900 – 1000 x 3 (arrival no later than 0830)

1000 – 1100 x 3 (arrival no later than 0930)

1100 – 1200 x 3 (arrival no later than 1030)

1200 – 1300 x 3 (arrival no later than 1130)

1300 – 1400 x 3 (arrival no later than 1230)

1400 – 1500 x 3 (arrival no later than 1330)
