583 Air Cadets will be going Fam flying, Saturday 01 OCT 2022 in the morning. Sign-up is limited to 18 Cadets; preference will be given to Cadets that did not go flying due the series of events brought upon us by the COVID-19 pandemic. this event is for Cadets only, not their families.
Cadets will get an email confirmation if they are in one of the 18 confirmed spots. If they do not get an email, please do not show up. Cadets may only sign up for one shift, if they sign up twice, then the latest time will be counted as their choice.
Demand for this activity is quite high: we are very likely one of the first units to get access to the fam flying program since March of 2020; signing up for this activity and being absent would an egregious waste of resources.
Dress for this activity is appropriate civilian attire. Pants, runners, long sleeved shirt, bring a hoodie/sweater and a rain coat just in case. Bring water as Cadets will be running as part of the activity so please bring appropriate shoes.
Location: Pitt Meadows Airport – meet at the new main terminal

- Shift 1: 0900-1000hrs (6 cadets)
- Shift 2: 1000-1100hrs (6 cadets)
- Shift 3: 1100-1200hrs (6 cadets)
Drop Off: 15 minutes before the shift starts
Pick Up: Varies, see above times
