An exciting opportunity has arisen for cadets in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley area to attend a Honours and Awards presentation by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada. This is a unique opportunity to attend an event that is not usually held on the west coast of Canada and to witness individuals being honoured for their contributions to Canada and Canadians.
The awards presentation will be held on Friday the 4th of Mar 2016 at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts in Vancouver. There will be two ceremonies one beginning at 0930 hrs and the second beginning at 1430 hrs. There is room for 50 cadets and escort officers for each ceremony and reception. Sqn’s are requested to email a list of those who want to attend along with their email addresses ASAP but before 1600 hrs on Tuesday the 1stof March 2016 to the address below.
Although this is a short timeline it will be an interesting and educational experience, please encourage your cadets to attend.
