Tag Days and Poppy Tagging

Tag Days are our most important Fund Raiser of the year. The money raised from this allow us to do what we do from Familiarization Flying and Museum Tours to Barbecues and Mess Dinners. All cadets are required to do at least 1 shift this weekend, but are encouraged to do more.

Cadets will be wearing their Winter Dress Uniforms. Cadets are to have their issues Parkas and Gloves with them if possible. If a uniform is not available to be worn, the cadet is to speak with an officer for direction prior to the Tag Day.

Cadets are to meet at the Squadron Headquarters 15 mins before their shift starts, and are to be picked up within 15 mins after their shift is complete.

Shift 1: SATURDAY FEB 01, 0800-1300 hrs
Shift 2: SATURDAY FEB 01, 1200-1700 hrs
Shift 3: SUNDAY FEB 02, 1100-1600 hrs

Due to tag day site capacities, we may limit number of cadets per shift.

Poppy Tagging

Poppy Campaign provides Canadians with the opportunity to Remember and honour our fallen Comrades by providing a Poppy to be worn in order to pay tribute to their sacrifices, deeds and accomplishments. All funds raised go directly to Veterans and their families – to the Legion Foundation – to special programs for Veterans with special physical needs – PTSD care and research – Veteran Care Homes – and provides bursaries, and much more. Please support this national campaign and give for those who have given so much to us.
