Thursday June 16th – Squadron Hike at Golden Ears Park
- Meet at lower falls parking lot for 1830hrs
- cadets to wear FTX Gear or proper hiking gear (specially boots/shoes with ankle support)
- estimated to be back at parking lot shortly after 2000hrs
- bring small the following:
- small FA Kit
- survival kit
- whistle
- flashlight
- bottle of water
- poncho (in case it rains)
- pocket knife (locking blade no bigger than 6”)
- Awards will be given to the flight that is best prepared and best attendance
- Lower Falls Trail: Gold Creek parking lot to Lower Falls. Hiking trail only (2.7 kilometres; suggested time: 1 hour; elevation change: minimal). A very popular, easy walk along Gold Creek to the 10-metre high Lower Falls.
